Before the storm, Bernstein’s Property Management Department made their clients aware of ways they can prepare their home for freezing temperatures, such as wrapping exposed pipes, turning off water at the meter and draining their pipes.
Following the storm, the Property Management Department has been helping its clients who had inevitable damage by coordinating plumbing repairs for those affected by pipe bursts, organizing insurance claims for those homes which were extremely impacted and arranging mitigation companies to minimize the amount of time the home is uninhabitable.
