Realtor of the Week: Realtor specializes in Westbury, Meyerland areas

Bernstein Realty Realtor Meagan Bordelon moved to Houston in 2012 and is proud to call the city her home.

Residing in the heart of Westbury, Bordelon, who was born and raised in Louisiana, has embraced all things Houston and strives to connect her clients with their dream homes. She recently purchased her own home in area in July 2021.

Her specialty areas are Westbury and Meyerland, but she does assist clients throughout the city whether they’re buying or selling.

“These are areas that provide a charming suburb feel inside the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a great time to buy in West-bury and Meyerland. The area has been revitalized since Harvey and it’s continuously growing. We love it,” she said.

Before moving to West-bury, Bordelon had resided in multiple areas of Houston resulting in extensive knowledge of various parts of the city. She has worked with properties ranging from The Woodlands to Humble, Piney Point and northwest Houston.

Bordelon began her real estate career over three years ago and joined Bernstein Realty in 2019. Prior to working as a Realtor, she was an executive assistant for a CEO who owned multiple companies. Throughout her time in corporate America, Bordelon developed a strong passion for helping people.

“I grew up with family members in real estate and construction which provided me with knowledge about the industry,” said Bordelon. “My role provided me with the skills of customer service, multitasking, problem solving and perseverance, which are very applicable to real estate. I love meeting new people and it’s fun to look at different homes.”

She has earned recognition for her devotion to clients, receiving Bernstein Realty’s Rising Star Award for 2020, and was named in the Who’s Who 2020 in

Houston Agent Magazine.

Bordelon said one of her key personal traits is that she “works really well with all personality types.”

“I approach my clients with honesty and integrity so that they are able to trust me with their real estate transactions. I am very friendly and outgoing, which has helped me cultivate close friendships with my clients,” she said.

In her free time, Bordelon is an avid artist and painter; as well as enjoys interior decorating; cooking; Astros baseball; and spending time with husband, son and their two dogs.
