On Thursday February 24th, Amy Bernstein, President of Bernstein Realty, hosted the company’s Annual Awards Luncheon at Tony’s in Houston. This luncheon is a special time for the agents to come together and celebrate their accomplishments and success from the previous year. This year, Melinda Gordon was awarded the highest honor of “Top Producer” for 2021.
Amy Bernstein presented the company’s top 5 producing agents of 2021with the Achievement of Excellence Award, in alphabetical order by last name: Wayne Cohen, Melinda Gordon, Susan McCauley, Mark McNitt and Neil Silverman.
Melinda Gordon was also presented an award for Largest Production Increase – Dollar Volume, and Top Sales Agent for Buyer’s Representation. Mark McNitt was presented an award for the Top Sales Agent for Seller’s Representation. Julie Brann won Top Listing Agent for Sales. Neil Silverman won the award for Top Listing Agent for Leases and Thea McShay won Largest Production Increase – Transaction Volume and Top Leasing Agent. Justin Murphy was Bernstein Realty’s 2021 Rising Star Award Recipient and Danielle Deavers was Bernstein Realty’s 2021 Shining Star Recipient.
An additional award was presented this year. Estelle Elles was the recipient of the Heart Award. Every day, Estelle not only exemplifies excellence in her own career, she also graciously shares her time, knowledge, and passion and cares for everyone around her, for both clients and colleagues. Mary Piper, Bernstein Realty’s Director of Relocation and Operations was awarded a heart award for leading the company through the uncertain times of COVID and the many challenges faced during this time, as she always does.
Many milestone anniversaries were also recognized at the Awards Luncheon, with recipients receiving custom etched wine bottles. These recipients were Gloria Moorman and Susan McCauley who celebrated 20 years with Bernstein Realty. Julie Brann and Myra Alderete celebrated 15 years. Wendy Bernstein, Neil Silverman, and Mark Pesek all celebrated 5 years with the company.
Amy concluded the luncheon by recognizing and expressing her gratitude and appreciation to all the agents and staff and thanked them for their contributions to the company for a successful 2021, along with wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and successful 2022!
